Our Whitewater Rafting Trip is a 3-hour, 3.5km white water rafting adventure down the River Dee, beginning at the stunning Horseshoe Falls and finishing here at our centre, Mile End Mill.
Along the way, we will paddle through several rapids, including the Horseshoe Fall, Chainbridge, Tombstones and the mighty Serpent’s Tail.
Upon arrival here at TNR Outdoors, you will meet your raft guide who will kit you out with a wetsuit, helmet, life jacket and paddle!
We will then transport you up to the start point, where you will be given a safety brief before heading out on your Whitewater Rafting Adventure.
When you arrive at our Llangollen rafting centre you will be greeted by our friendly river guides, who will get you signed in and promptly equipped and ready for your whitewater adventure.
We provide transport to the start point (the horseshoe falls) where your raft guide will give your group a full safety briefing to ensure your team a safe and comfortable trip. Once this is completed, we head on to the water for a familiarization with how to paddle the raft, before we plunge over the first vertical drop. The session then takes you an approx. 3.5km adventure over grade 2-3 rapids.
The session finishes at our riverside HQ, where we will use the raft to surf the waves and give your team some challenges for maximum convenience and FUN.
£50.00 per person

This session starts at TNR HQ, then we will shuttle you up to the beginning of the trip – Horseshoe Falls, before we begin our 3.5km descent down river, back to TNR.
The session is 3 hours long, which includes 15 minutes at either end, to get changed.
We will supply you with a wetsuit, a white water PFD and, obviously, a raft. Depending on the quantity of “sense of adventure” mentioned above there will be terrific banter and questionable jokes.
You will need to bring Swimwear (we thankfully do not provide this) you will need to bring a pair of trainers or water shoes that fit securely, no crocs even the safety strap will not save your boot… or your dignity! You will also need to bring a towel, and a sense of adventure. During cooler months, thermal base layers are recommended for those that are more sensitive to cold.
Your White water raft session will be staffed by a safe, internationally qualified and highly experienced white water guide. Many of our raft guides also, are also climbers, and kayakers too.
