Welcome to TNR Outdoors, the North Wales-based adventure company founded by and run by experienced adventure instructors.
We founded TNR Outdoors back in 2015, and have been striving to bring excitement and adventure to everyone who has visited us at Mile End Mill ever since. Back when we started out, we were only providing small paddlesports courses. Now, we’ve grown to become one of the largest outdoor centres in the entire area, offering a wide variety of outdoor and indoor activities.
Everybody is welcome here at TNR Outdoors; we believe our facilities can make a great day out for absolutely anyone.
We feel as though our skilled, experienced and knowledgeable instructors can outmatch any other outdoor centre around. Many of us have learnt our trade travelling the world in areas like Southeast Asia – teaching, instructing and exploring all over the place. On top of this, our facility is entirely instructor-run. For us, this means that every decision we make is made with you, the adventurer, as well as our team, in mind.

Wonderful family experience! - Such a lovely experience for the whole family! Friendly staff and after a quick safety and instructions briefing we were off!
Some things to consider (and what we’d... read more take account of next time we do this!). Crossing the aqueduct can take a while as you give way to any traffic coming the other way. We had a 20 minute wait or so before we could paddle across. I understand the wait can be much longer sometimes. Made no odds to me but the kids were restless so handy to forewarn any younger ones! My other tip is to put things in waterproof bags. My back pack is water resistant but it got lots of water dripped on it from the paddles and it and the contents were pretty soggy afterwards!
Lovely mornings activity nevertheless even in the short rain shower. We’d definitely do it again 👍🏻
