Upon arrival to our Llangollen base, report to reception where you will meet your guides – they will get you kitted out with everything you need. Once you have got changed, we head straight out onto the river, which runs through our site. We’ll get you afloat and teach you some basic skills, along with some essential safety information.
Then we’re off to the rapids for exhilarating fun; surfing playing games running and re-running rapids, forwards backwards & sideways! Your guide will make sure you have a fantastic experience and make sure you stay safe at all times. At the end of the session, we head back inside to get changed.

Yes. Very wet. It is not the aim of the session to fall out or for the raft to flip over, but it may happen. You will be given instructions on what to do if this does happen and our instructors will get sorted and rafting again right away.
Not at all, your buoyancy aid has more than enough floatation and our instructors will help at all times.
We sell waterproof phone cases which are suitable to keep your phone safe and dry. Your instructor may take some photos if they have the opportunity.
