30-Minute Air Rifle

With individual shooting bays and a massive host of reactive and responsive targets, our North Wales air rifle range has been hugely successful with all ages and all groups. We have a range of air rifles and pistols, including NATO M4 Carbine replicas, sniper rifles and traditional air rifles with telescopic and iron sights.

What to Expect

Your Air Rifle session will start with a full safety briefing from one of our experienced range masters. Your instructor will explain how to use the rifles and how to aim them safely. You will then get to shoot as many pellets as you want within the time, knocking down cans or spinning, flipping and knocking down our responsive targets. We close the session with a competition where you will fire at a paper target that you can take home with you.

What to bring

Our Llangollen ranges are inside but can get a bit cold, particularly in winter months, we would recommend bringing warm clothing.

Who runs the session

Our target sessions are run by experienced and highly trained safe instructors with a passion for giving people a great time. Many of our Air Rifle instructors are also raft guides, climbers, and kayakers too.

Can I bring my own Rifle/ Pistol?

On our standard session, no. If you have a particular interest in bringing your own equipment, please call our office on 01978 860 700.

What age is this session suitable for?

Accompanied children from 7 years old are welcome.

Are your facilities accessible to wheelchairs?

At this time unfortunately not, there are two sets of stairs up to the ranges.

Can I bring my dog?

Well behaved dogs are welcome but must remain on a lead and under supervision. If they are barking constantly, you may be asked to remove them.

Are spectators welcome?

Non-participating members of a group are welcome to spectate.

Can I bring a group?

Yes, we regularly cater for large groups please call our office to find out more

Is this session suitable for SEND?

Yes. We host many SEND children and adults. We are also able to offer additional support where needed and can provide ear defenders to help balance louder noises. It is always best to call ahead if you have any concerns.

Is this a private session?

No. There may be up to 8 people in a mixed group. The Air rifle range is built to allow 8 people to shoot at once. We will never mix certain groups such as school groups, stag and hens, etc. Private sessions are available. Please call our office to find out more or for group booking

"We found this place by chance and so thought we would try the air rifle shooting range. Really warm welcome from the team and we were taken to the top of the building and shown the basics by our instructor (friendly guy ex armed forces forgot his name) we had a 30-minute session and it was brilliant fun. Those poor tin cans didn't stand a chance!! The superb rock soundtrack in the background just added to the experience for me. We had a brief try of the axe throwing too which was great fun as well.
