What does the fee cover?
The money you pay covers car parking, toilets and use of the changing rooms. As well as giving you permission to access the river and the banks from 'Tombstones' weir down to 'Bottom Wave'. This allows you to freely access both banks to inspect, set up safety and re-run rapids as many times as you like.
Ultimately Mile End Mill is a private venue and probably unique in that it is managed by three paddlers who believe in making it the best it can be. Your fees help pay the rent and upkeep ensuring it remains in the hands of paddlers and people who care. so far we have reinvested all water fees as well as much of our own capitol.
If you have any suggestions we would love to hear them. Drop us an email to [email protected]
